Emperor Trump replays a scene from Ben Hur

It is not hard to imagine Trump standing as Caligula on the Emperor’s palatium and holding an extended arm ready to give the performers in the Coliseum a thumbs up or thumbs down after seeing his performance at Nascar this past weekend.

His presidential limousine followed by a string of limos circled the NASCAR track in front of a roaring crowd.

His attempts to display his power and prestige are precisely what one would expect from a narcissistic , self-absorbed man-child.

I wonder what DOGE would say - if it really were a legitimate department concerned about the cost to American taxpayers instead of some political bullshit - about this ridiculous expenditure for an act of self-indulgence and self-gratification for an insecure president.
